JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Members of the Alaska National Guard are subject to the Alaska Code of Military Justice and regard-less of what state or country they are in. Article 112a of the UCMJ prohibits wrongful use, posses-sion, distribution and manufacture of controlled substances, which includes marijuana and any of its compounds or derivatives.
