Retired 176th Wing PJ, firefighter partners with Guardian Angels for rescue

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Alaska Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Daniel Stikeleather is a pararescueman with 212th Rescue Squadron. When an Anchorage Fire Department firefighter was injured during a rescue of civilian hikers, a 176th Wing HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter carrying Stikeleather’s team launched from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and extracted the injured firefighter.
