Prior to joining the Army National Guard, Spc. Brad Adams, then a member of the Yakutat Police Department, works alongside AKARNG Soldiers during snow-removal operations in Yakutat, Alaska, Jan. 14, 2022. Adams, now assigned to the 297th Infantry Battalion’s headquarters, enlisted on Oct. 15, 2024, as a 68W combat medic. This role well aligned with his seven years of experience as a paramedic and emergency room technician in Colorado and his ongoing law enforcement career with the Whittier Police Department.
