Spc. Nyla Echols, a petroleum supply specialist for the 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, "Gunslingers", 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, describes her decision to serve in the U.S. Army, and how that decision has benefitted her personally while she is stationed in Powidz, Poland, May 28, 2024. Echols is using her military benefits to get an education in kinesiology during her second deployment to Poland, and enjoys the times she gets to travel during her deployments.
