Joseph Ferraro, a military police officer (MP) with the 728th Military Police Battalion, 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theatre Sustainment Command, conducts a checkpoint class during Salaknib 24 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 12, 2024. During the class, Ferraro shared information on operating traffic stops, checkpoints, searching vehicles, and road signage. Salaknib is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
