Dan Porter with the 633rd Civil Engineer Squadron became a life-saving wingman after willingly donating a kidney to an Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers biologist, Carissa Agnese. Unfortunately, they weren't a perfect match for a direct donation. However, they found a kidney exchange program through the University of Virginia where multiple people benefit from a cross-country donor matching program.
