BARRANQUITAS/VEGA ALTA, Puerto Rico, July 7, 2020 - Allocated $18.5 million in additional funds for 77 recovery projects. The allocations include over $11 million for 38 projects to repair roads and bridges on the island. Over $238,000 to the municipality of Luquillo to remove and replace asphalt in the Buena Vista Carrión Sector and El Hoyo Sector. About $209,000 for the municipality of Barranquitas to repair what will be the Old Casino and will soon become the School of Fine Arts. Over $155,000 for the repair of the basketball court and baseball park in the Carmelita Sector of Vega Alta.
