U.S. Marine Corps F-35B lightning II aircraft launch at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Dec 4, 2017 in support of VIGILANT ACE 18. The regularly scheduled exercise gives U.S. and allied forces the opportunity to integrate and operate together to hone their ability to defend the Korean Peninsula. This year marks the first appearance of 5th generation aircraft in the annually scheduled VIGILANT ACE exercises.
