Navy Reserve Centers (NRCs) generate mobilization readiness by providing administrative services and training support to Navy Reserve personnel in support of surge and operational requirements for the Navy/Marine Corps team. On July 16th, 2015, 4 Marines and 1 Sailor were killed in a terrorist attack on NRC Chattanooga.
