190612-N-MD802-1001 KALLASTE, Estonia (June 12, 2019) U.S. Marines with 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and Romanian Marines with 307 Regiment secure a beach after disembarking from the Lubin-class mine layer/landing ship ORP Gnierzno during exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2019. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region, marking the 47th year of one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
