2nd Marine Regiment conducted a transfer of authority ceremony at Moron Air Base, Spain Oct 10. The ceremony symbolized the beginning of the unit's deployment assigned to SPMAGTF-CR-AF and initiated their responsibility as an alert force supporting contingency operations on the continent of Africa.
