ARP Marines conduct marksmanship training aboard USS Wasp
31st Marine Expeditionary Unit
Oct. 17, 2018 | 0:33
Reconnaissance Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's Amphibious Reconnassance Platoon fire M1911 .45-caliber pistols during marksmanship training aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), underway in the East China Sea, Oct. 17, 2018. The ARP conducted this training to refine skills with the M1911 .45-caliber pistol and the M4 carbine. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide-range of military operations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
