Deployed “Best Warriors” Compete in Blackjack Challenge

Deployed Soldiers with the 1st Theater Sustainment Command competed in a Best Warrior Competition dubbed the "Blackjack Challenge” from Mar. 10-13, 2020 in the U.S. Central Command Region. U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Sara Brown, the operations’ senior noncommissioned officer of the 1st TSC and Nowata, Oklahoma native, outlines the intent of the event: to identify the best noncommissioned officer and junior enlisted Soldier in the 1st TSC to send to the U.S. Army Central's Best Warrior Competition scheduled later this year. U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Giner, the Blackjack Challenge NCO winner with the Special Troops Battalion, 1st Armored Division Sustainment Brigade, and U.S. Army Pvt.
