Members of the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, give an inside look at what makes their mission move. The 379th EAES Airmen convert cargo aircraft into flying hospitals, used to transport patients from throughout the United States Central Command area of responsibility to higher-level care facilities. U.S. Air Force Capt. Carissa Backer, flight nurse, Senior Master Sgt. Adam Willemssen, superintendent and first sergeant, and Staff Sgt.
