7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
Sept. 4, 2018 | 0:42
The 528th Hospital Center's Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise includes various training scenarios, designed to test their medical capabilities.
Army medical Soldiers from multiple units, along with 100 medical professionals from 15 installations across the United States have converged at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, September 2018, to validate the hospital center concept and its organizational structure.
The hospital center consists of 48 intensive care beds and 100 intermediate care ward beds. Medical services include: surgery, dental pharmacy, lab/blood, radiology and computerized tomography.
The EDRE allows the units to train on the following tasks in an expeditionary environment: conduct expeditionary deployment operations, manage health service support, and manage hospitalization.
