This package shows Marines with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Company C, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, restoring and painting a fence at the Raintree House as part of a community relations event, New Orleans, April 19, 2012. The 26th MEU is supporting the Commemoration of the Battle of New Orleans. Starting this April and continuing through 2015, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard will commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the Star Spangled Banner. The War of 1812 celebration will commemorate the rich Naval history and showcase the capabilities of today's Navy-Marine Corps team. Narration provided by Cpl. Tammy K.
