BREMERTON, Wash. (May 28, 2019) – The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Pittsburgh (SSN 720), arrives at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton to commence the inactivation and decommissioning process. Cmdr. Jason Deichler, the boat's commanding officer, who is a Pittsburgh native, discusses the transit from Groton, Connecticut and the boat's decommissioning.
