Several birds receive treatment at the Oiled Wildlife Care Network, Oct. 8, 2021, in San Pedro, Calif., where rescued birds from the recent oil spill off the Southern California Coast are brought for rehabilitation. Birds are examined by technicians who work for OWCN in partnership with International Bird Rescue. The birds are cleaned and cared for before returning to the wild.
