U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade and the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade host a transfer of authority ceremony at Forward Operating Site Powidz, Poland, April 19, 2024. Both brigades deployed as part of a rotation of forces to the V Corps’ area of operations in Eastern Europe. U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Christopher Norrie, the commanding general of the 3rd Infantry Division, congratulated the brigade on a job well done and spoke on his excitement for the future as the cavalry lead the next mission set. Col. Jennifer McDonough, the command team of the 3rd DSB, lauds the accomplishments of the 87th Division Sustainment Support Battalion and Col. Christopher Jones, the commander of the 1st CDSB, promises to build upon the accomplishments of the 3rd DSB as the Wagoasters now assume the mission. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Jameson Harris)
