U.S. Marines with 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (MARDIV), launch and recover an RQ-20B Puma unmanned-aircraft system at Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, North Carolina, April 27, 2023. Marines from 2nd MARDIV attached to Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron (VMU) 2 to support Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 during Mission Rehearsal Exercise 1-23 to increase proficiency through integrated training while providing uninterrupted aviation-ground support to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW). MWSS-271 and VMU-2 are subordinate units of 2nd MAW, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
