U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, board a KC-130 Hercules aircraft during Assault Support Tactics 4, as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructors Course 1-19 at a strategic expedition landing field at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Oct. 9, 2018. WTI, a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1, emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine air-ground task force.
