Operation Christmas Drop: Bruce Best B-Roll

In its 68th year, Operation Christmas Drop is the world’s longest running humanitarian airdrop training mission, providing critical supplies to 56 Micronesian islands, impacting approximately 20,000 people across 1.8 million square nautical miles of operating area. For the past 35 years Mr. Bruce Best, from his high frequency radio office at the University of Guam, connects islanders with the C-130 aircrews to facilitate a safe and effective deliveries. This year Mr. Best coordinated around 70 flights that delivered 176 bundles to islanders.
