Members of the Nebraska National Guard assist local authorities on June 18th as clean-up efforts begin following the June 16th twin tornados in Pilger, Nebraska. Twenty soldiers are manning entry control points for 24-hour coverage, protecting from looters and assisting with traffic flow. This footage is of some of the Nebraska National Guard members while on duty at Pilger and some interviews. There is also some general footage around town documenting the destruction and the large clean-up efforts in full force. Produced by Tech. Sgt. Denise Knickerbocker. Includes soundbites from Staff Sgt. Daniel Roeber, security detail volunteer, Teresa & Trey Wisniewski, Pilger, Neb., Staff Sgt. Jason Morrison, security detail volunteer, and Sgt. 1st Class Brendan Dorcey, non-commissioned officer in charge of security detail.
