March 23, 2011 | 4:11
A C-130 aircrew from the 36th Airlift Squadron at Yokota Air Base fly to Chitose Air Base, a Japanese Air Self Defense Force base, to pick up relief supplies during Operation Tomodachi. Two air transportation Airmen fly with the crew so they can inspect relief pallets for correct weights and configuration before being loaded onto the C-130H. Once the pallets are loaded onto the aircraft, the crew flies to Matsushima Airport for final delivery of pallets. Fifteen thousand pounds of blankets, water and food were delivered.
