127th Airborne Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division Soldiers partner with A Company, 4th Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 82nd Abn Div and 502nd Multi Role Bridge Company, 19th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade to perform a wet gap training exercise on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Jan. 9, 2019. The Improved Ribbon Bridge enabled Soldiers to create bridges or ferry personnel and equipment across bodies of water to allow the continuation of their mission. Staff Sgt. Travis Stelton, assigned to 502nd MRBC, speaks about the personnel and equipment necessary for the event. Lt. Col. Douglas Massie, 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion commander, explains the importance of the training.
