U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsmen with Black Sea Rotational Force 13, soldiers from the Bulgarian 3rd Infantry Battalion, Serbian 21st Battalion and Azerbaijani Operational Capabilities Concept Battalion, conduct exercises during the combat lifesaver class at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, during Exercise Platinum Lion 13 July 22, 2013. BSRF-13 focuses on stability, counter-insurgency, and peacekeeping operations in order to build partner-nation capacity, enhance interoperability between countries and increase overall effectiveness of the participating military forces.
