WASHINGTON (Nov. 9, 2023) - Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Lisa Franchetti shares her journey to becoming the 33rd CNO. Franchetti is not only the first woman to become CNO and the first woman on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but also the first CNO who commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program.
