75th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Limburg Province in the Netherlands
North Carolina National Guard
Sept. 11, 2019 | 2:19
WWII Veterans who served in the 30th Infantry Division, their family members, and N.C. National Guard Soldiers visit the graves of 30th Inf. Div. Soldiers buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, the Netherlands on Sept. 12, 2019. Four WWII Veterans who served in the 30th Infantry Division, traveled to the Netherlands with North Carolina National Guard Soldiers to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of the Limburg Province in the Netherlands. George Hamm talks about his fallen comrade and the nephew of a fallen 30th Soldier talks about his uncle. The NCNG’s 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team traces its lineage to the 30th Inf. Div. and still wears the same unit patch.
