U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepare a landing zone for a CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (reinforced) during a helicopter support team (HST) exercise on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Feb. 15, 2024. The HST provides the 24th MEU the capability to insert and extract heavy machinery and equipment in an expedient manner to provide assault support of combat troops, supplies, and equipment.
