U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District Senior Construction Manager Rick Hart volunteered as part of the USACE Hurricane Ida Response in southern Louisiana. Hart deployed as a quality assurance specialist for Operation Blue Roof. To date, USACE has completed more than 32,500 temporary roof repairs in 25 parishes and is more than 95 percent complete with the mission.
