Expert Field Medical Badge Promotion Video
U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence
Jan. 3, 2019 | 0:54
The Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) is a visible measurement of technical and tactical proficiency for military medical professionals, much like the EIB is for Infantry personnel. Units who host the EFMB test support the professional development and career enhancement of those medical personnel who attain the coveted EFMB. An increase in EFMB holders not only benefits those individuals, but it also increases unit readiness and elevates the medical capability within the entire organization. Commands interested in hosting an EFMB test should contact the AMEDDC&S HRCoE Test Control Office (TCO) to schedule validation. Units and test candidates are encouraged to review the current EFMB standards and updates to eligibility requirements that go in effect March 1, 2019 as they prepare for their test event.
Watch the video to hear more from MG Patrick Sargent, HRCoE Commanding General. For more information, visit the EFMB webpage at http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/efmb.aspx
