Soldiers from C Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas conduct a team live fire for an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise at Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area, Poland, March 24.
At the direction of the Secretary of Defense, the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, deployed to Europe to exercise the U.S. Army's ability to rapidly alert, recall and deploy under emergency conditions.
U.S. forces deployed to Europe in support of Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise Dynamic Force Deployment is evidence of the strong and unremitting U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe. Through continuous, multinational training and security cooperation activities, the exercise builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bond between ally and partner militaries.
