Don’t be denied: Bicyclists need new I.D. to access base
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton
Aug. 8, 2018 | 0:29
As of October 1st, 2018, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will no longer accept a drivers license for bicyclists looking to access the base. To obtain base access cyclists must go to the Visitor’s Center located next to the MCB Camp Pendleton Main Gate with an identification card to be entered into the Defense Biometric Identification System. Once you have been entered into the new identification system, you will receive an access card that is valid for one year. For more information or questions, visit https://www.pendleton.marines.mil/Base-Access/ (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl. Noah Rudash)
