For the first time in 20 years tanks once again occupied Latvia, this time as a sign of partnership. The 1st Brigade Combat Team provided the tanks as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a training mission. Throughout the months, U.S. Soldiers will not only concentrate on their training goals, but also participate in joint training with Latvian forces strengthening the US’s military, Latvia’s military and the partnership between NATO allies.
