1st Brigade, 11th Airborne Division

The 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team,
25th Infantry Division started loading tactical vehicles and equipment at
Fort Wainwright onto train cars bound for Fort Irwin, California, and will
continue loading equipment through next week.
The Stryker brigade is scheduled to conduct their capstone training exercise at the U.S. Army's National Training Center at Fort Irwin
in January and is beginning the logistical movements to facilitate the
deployment.
The Soldiers of the Stryker Brigade are expected to be deployed throughout the month of January to California for the exercise and return to interior Alaska in February.
