U.S. Army Paratroopers, assigned to 1st Battalion (Airborne), 143rd Infantry Regiment, conducts a Joint Forcible Entry Operation onto Drop Zone Kelly, San Antonio, Texas; Mar. 21, 2019. The Joint Forcible Entry exercise is an annual large scale airborne drop and land mobility mission that simulates a contested battlefield scenario as a way of training units for dangerous situations that can occur while deployed.
