III Marine Expeditionary Force
Aug. 9, 2016 | 3:03
U.S. Marines with Task Force Koa Moana 16.2 continue to operationalize the Maritime Prepositioning Force and build partner capacity between the U.S. and partner nations, specifically Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and Tonga. This year’s iteration of Koa Moana focused on enhancing infantry and engineer capabilities at the platoon level, while building mil-to-mil relations and improving war fighting skills.
